GENERAL ELECTION 2025 INFORMATION
The City of O’Donnell General Election is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025. During this cycle, voters will decide on two Council Members at large.
January 6, 2025- Candidate Packets are available at City Hall- (City Secretary’s Office)
January 15, 2025- First day to apply for a place on the ballot
February 14, 2025- Last day to apply for a place on the ballot
April 3, 2025– Last day to register to vote! Remind your friends & family!
April 22- April 29, 2025- EARLY VOTING at City Hall, 615 8th Street, O’Donnell, TX 79351. Phone number (806)428-3239.
May 3, 2025– ELECTION DAY at the O’Donnell Community Center, 100 Nassau Road, O’Donnell, TX 79351. On Election Day the polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Candidates or Potential Candidates
Reminder: While the City Secretary can be expected to advise you on various deadlines while accepting and filing applications and campaign finance paperwork, the City Secretary should not be expected to judge or comment on the timeliness or sufficiency of reports filed. Candidates can get guidance from the Texas Ethics Commission for questions about campaign finance paperwork. IT IS THE DUTY OF THE CANDIDATE TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE LAW APPLICABLE TO CAMPAIGNS FOR OFFICE.
